Oh hello there, real life. I'm sorry to say this, but until you lay off the people I love, we just can't be on speaking terms. I'm leaving you for the internet.

So in honor of the new people around here (hi guys! Sorry this journal is so boring!) I thought I'd open the floor to questions! If there's anything you'd like to know about me - favorite food, blood type, how I like my marriage proposals, whatever - feel free to ask! ♥ And even if you've been around a while, you should ask whatever you like, too.

Additionally, I feel like picspamming, so if there's anything you'd like me to snap a picture of (WITHIN REASON NATURALLY), do tell. :D

SERIOUSLY. I wonder how real life would like it if I busted the windows out of its car.

Okay, now I need to know. WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF THE IDEAL MARRIAGE PROPOSAL???

Also, tell us a little bit about your ~favorite~ piece of clothing. Picture optional. :3

PROPOSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL IIIIIIIIIIIIIN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! Because really, how awesome would it be to be proposed to while floating high above the earth? But, ahem, more realistically, it'd be nice if he took me somewhere I really loved first. :D

Hmmm! My favorite piece of clothing right now is probably this white dress I bought in Vermont. I am such a stereotypical girl in that I love pretty dresses, and this one is just so cute and summery and makes me want to go running in fields of wheat or something. This is the best picture I managed to get of myself in it:

What was one of the most important moments in your life?

Date: 2010-07-29 04:50 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] ruffwriter.livejournal.com
Hmm. Probably when I moved from New Hampshire to Florida when I was thirteen? At the time it seemed like something I was never going to survive, but now I realize that I never would be where I am right now if my life hadn't gone in that direction. And I really like where I am now! :D So I'm really glad we had to do that - even if I still miss the old house sometimes.

I like this answer. Thank you.

If you'd like, I could reply with one of my own.

Two years ago from 1st June, I learned that it could be a good thing to say no to love. I was in an oppressive and abusive relationship that was otherwise masked as the best thing to family and friends. The conflict was that I had feelings for him and I hadn't ever felt anything for anyone before, which at age twenty-four struck me as incredibly sad.

But I remembered that, despite the rare 'good day', there were billions of other people in the world all with hearts of their own that may accept me without having to control or change me to fit their mould.

I packed all of my things the night after my birthday and left the next morning.

So, what were your first fandoms, however you define that?

Date: 2010-07-29 04:52 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] ruffwriter.livejournal.com
Hmmm! Well, I first started going on the internet and reading fanfic and such with the Trigun anime, Gundam Wing, X-Men, and the Lord of the Rings movies, and I first got into RP and such in the Peacemaker Kurogane fandom. So my fandoms were pretty much all over the place - much like they are now, really!

What hobbies do you have? (I don't know if you consider writing a "hobby" or something more, but I mean other hobbies or activities! I obviously know about your writing. :D)

Heee! Well to me, writing is a way of life, but I do have other, more casual hobbies. :D I love acting and theatre, and I get such a rush from performing live on stage. I don't get the opportunity to do it that much anymore, but if I got the chance, I'd be all over that. I also really love cooking! Comfort food is my specialty: I'm told that my risotto, my homemade mac and cheese, and my potato soup are rather tasty.

Re: writing: That's kind of what I figured. ~_^

I always think acting looks like a lot of fun, but personally I don't think I could ever do it (I think I'd get stage fright XD). Did you participate a lot in middle school/high school?

AND I WISH WE LIVED NEAR ONE ANOTHER, because the three foods you listed are SOME OF MY FAVORITES (but I am not really a good cook, mostly from lack of practice). YUM.
