I have been doing nothing but moving prep for days, and the excitement/nervousness is making me twitchy. I feel like shaking it up a bit!

DRABBLE REQUESTS ARE OPEN.

As I'm sure you're all well aware, I am terribly distractable sometimes all day every day, so this is by no means a guarantee. But if you leave a prompt you may just get a drabble, so why the hell not? Fannish, original, anything goes. Anything you know I'm into is fair game. And my brain is incredibly fickle sometimes, so multiple prompts are not only okay, they're encouraged.

And I also will probably revisit the unfilled OC-prompts from last time, as well, since I've been meaning to write those up. (LIKE I SAID, FICKLE.)

Have fun!

And P.S - stealth plug for my IB short story five days with the bride of the ocean. :D

Varied entry for a varied weekend!

- I bought my first pair of fancy jeans today! I've always been wary of buying the more expensive brands, but this was really worth it. Normally I can't stand it when something is that close a fit, but they are super comfortable and make my ass look fantastic. And I love when people realize that girls can be short and curvy. Definitely a great purchase. ♥

- My work wardrobe in general has expanded quite a bit! My closet is embassy-ready. That's a nice feeling.

- I never thanked you guys for your great drabble suggestions. So thank you! They totally got me inspired... although not in the way I thought! I spent most of my trip last week thinking up ideas for the drabbles, and then after I wrote one on Monday, I then wrote about 4000 words of The Hungry Ground instead. The chapter will be done early this week, and then I'll definitely return to the drabble prompts. I at least have to write the Possession ficlet about Felix and Lady Gaga.

- [livejournal.com profile] imaginarybeasts #22 will go live next weekend, and I have a story in it this time! It's funny how so far, I've been in the winter issue and the summer issue. Anyway, the new story is called "five days with the bride of the ocean," and I hope that y'all will like it.

- Have I not screamed about Legend of Korra yet? This is a grievous oversight indeed. Let's try this again: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. This is going to be awesome, guys. SO AWESOME. ♥ ♥

So that's what's up with me. What's going on with you guys?

I woke up with a crazy fever early this morning. ;; And I had very vivid dreams suggesting that the finale of LOST was responsible.

It's gone now, but it's still very weird. I don't actually get fevers: I haven't gotten one since I graduated from high school, and that one lasted for an equally short time. Maybe these freak, flash-fevers are a byproduct of graduation? WHO KNOWS.

In more creative news, I am determined to write an [livejournal.com profile] imaginarybeasts story this time around. If I manage to write something, would anyone be interested in illustrating?
