So let us do a recap of THIS WEEK IN ENTERTAINMENT. I have consumed more in the past few days than I have in weeks - thanks, Spring Break!

- Firstly and most importantly, I CAN HAS PRINCE OF PERSIA. Temporarily. Sarah's lab mate lent me his XBOX360 as a birthday present of sorts, and another labmate kindly lent me his copy of Prince of Persia. So I have been having great fun accidentally inventing new ways to hurl myself into chasms.

I still love the Prince and Elika. I loved them before, but I forgot how much! I am weak to their dynamic in general: it's adorable how Elika does get that he's attracted to her, but doesn't seem to realize that he's in awe of her. And oh, their banter! And the delicious foreshadowing! I request a sequel game in which they do nothing but alternate between snarking and making out.

- I also had the chance to play Final Fantasy 13 a little bit! I'm not very far in, but I like it. Most of the characters are endearing (Sazh! ♥), and I've had multiple Stupid Sexy Lightning moments so far. Also, I have endless funtimes with Hope, who I have taken to calling "Muffin." At first, Sarah's labmate was all, "HE DOES NOT NEED TO BE EMASCULATED MORE," but by the end of the night he was also calling him "Muffin."

- I also played a little Assassin's Creed 2. At some point I am just going to go running up to a building and try to climb it. I was also far too used to PoP at that point, so I would just hurl Ezio off roofs and go "WHAT THE HELL WHERE'S ELIKA." Oops.

- So I was just watching Fringe episodes for the sake of having something to watch, but as it goes into season two, it is actually legitimately growing on me! Of course, as soon as I thought that, they decided to go and kill off a character I liked in a terrible horrible way. Where am I supposed to get my deadpan snark and weirdly incongruous hats now. D:

One thing I think they did rather well was to make Massive Dynamic deliciously ambiguous instead of the stereotypical evil cooperation. Which is awesome because, well, I have a strange love for Nina Sharp and her robot arm. ♥ It is a JJ Abrams show, and therefore full of plot holes big enough to create a rip in the fabric of space time, but it's fun, and contains minimal fail.

- And just so you know I'm still literate, I'm currently reading The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. It's like Gosford Park with a ghost story. ♥ Love it. Will do a writeup later.

Thanks so much for all the prompts, guys! I plan to sit down and mess with them soon.

ISN'T SARAH WATERS AWESOME?!

SHE IS. ♥

HOPE IS SUCH A CUTIE. I want to take him home and hug him and feed him cookies all day. And Sazh, omg. ♥ Out of curiousity, what's your opinion on Vanille? I find her really irritating, but I'm not sure if it's just because I'm a grouch or what.

Vanille is 'special'. I agree. *coughs*

He is. I alternate between mocking him and wanting to hug him. Actually, I do both most of the time. ♥

I actually don't mind Vanille! She's useful, even if her voice actress is craaaazy.

I had my problems with the emoness of the FF13 characters at times. Especially Hope (that's why I call him still emo-kid at times). But he's darn useful in my team by now. And I still can't admit he's in my dream-team because one of my friends loathes him like WHOA!! XD XD

Also, wait until you get Lightning and Fang together! *______* Their COM/COM is called 'Double Trouble'...

I shall shut up, as I'm probably far, far, far ahead (working on my final class to max out, 5 of 6 done - wooohooooo; beating Adamantaimais in under 3 minutes without Death and summon... and still not good enough for those freaking blueish Adamans called Long Guis *sighs*)

I'm gaming way too much... I know...

'Double Trouble?' HAH. Love it. ♥ Can't wait to get those two together and see what happens.

I loved watching my girlfriend play Assassin's Creed 2 (and the first one). I'm not a real serious gamer myself (I dabble XD), but watching her play that game was like watching a movie *_* And Ezio is hot and badass, so what's not to love? (I fail at being a lesbian!)

I have tried Prince of Persia, and I too was very good at making him fall into crevices. It's a fun game, though! (I have this bad habit of starting games and NEVER FINISHING THEM. ^^; PoP is no exception.) I'm glad you're having a relaxing spring break/birthday time. XD

Ezio is such a cutie. ♥ Even when he's trying to be badass, I just sit there and go, "Aww. You dork."

You should play more PoP! It is gorgeous and the pairing is fantastic~

Love, love, love Assassin's Creed II, but I can't begin to express my disappointment in FFXIII. I miss when Square/SquareEnix cared.

I will totally have to play more Assassin's Creed II, because I love the gameplay and I love Ezio! I don't have an incredibly strong opinion on FFXIII because I've just started, but I enjoy it well enough so far.

I LOVE THE BANTER IN PofP
Especially after one of the bosses you beat? If you stand around for a while after Elika's purified shit, the Prince'll be all HEY DO YOU WANNA PLAY A GAME
I SPY...

And they just go on. And on. And it's precious.
Seriously just lag about in certain zones and see what they say it's precious.

I LOVE THAT PART.

"S."
"S again? ... sky."
"Nope!"
"Scar."

"Scar-fff."

"SOULLESS FOLLOWER OF AHRIMAN. :D"

Ahahahahaha, Prince of Persia! Assassin's Creed 2! My sister has totes already played through those (on the computer, heh), plus Bioshock, plus Dragon Age, plus... oh my god I don't even know anymore. xD

(Assassin's Creed 2: no more of the jumping into monks for camouflage, I take it?)

Crowds in general are used for blending. It's much more real that way, since I could always spot the "scholar" decked out with lethal weapons.

You can totally blend into monks. I kept wondering when someone was going to notice that there was an armed dude in a hoodie strolling along with normal-looking people. XD

I LOVE THE PRINCE AND ELIKA SO MUCH. SO MUCH.

When they had that conversation about waiting ("So what are we waiting for? *TRAILS OFF SUGGESTIVELY*") I sort of shrieked.

BTW! Any idea when you want to meet up?
