GASP. A PUBLIC POST. Well, I'm only making it public so you can link it to your friends so that they may shower you with love, too.

This isn't really a formal thing, more like something for my friends and friends-of-friends. And I'm too lazy to do any of that cool HTML business. But it seems like a lot of people need cheering up lately, and I admit that I've kind of been exploding, too. So here we are:

You've got a talent, Becky, an overwhelmingly astounding ability to make characters that can capture an audience's heart without them being the creators themselves. I think ultimately, although you write very well, that it is your characters that carry your stories through, and that is a very good thing.

You're also a very sweet girl; one of the sweetest people I know, and I will always remember when you came to my house and tried ootoro and all that other stuff, haha. (And oh god, boy am I ever still sorry about my dad and that bottle of beer. For what it's worth, I think they were just trying to get rid of it. What can I coherently say about Chira, besides that she is awesome? Other than that she is awesome, awesome, and as we say in Boston, wicked awesome? You've always been a wonderful friend to me, and I had so much fun hanging out with you last March. I loved playing games with you, watching HIMYM episodes, eating awesome food, going to Science World... I hope we get to do it again sometime. ♥ Even when it's not in person, I always grin through conversations with you on LJ and AIM.

And you already know this, but when I see new art posts by you I make embarrassing squeaking sounds. Your style gives me so much glee, even when you're drawing for fandoms I'm not even in.

Okay, for real. How long have I known you now? Two or three years? I always had an awesome time writing and messing around with you on War of Reds, and even though the RP is over, I still love doing those same things now. Once I'm not dying, we totally need to get our asses in gear and cowrite lots more. We've been ignoring our characters so much, they must be relieved. I mean bored.

And we've gotten to hang out twice now, and both times have been utterly amazing. This clearly means we have to get together again soon and actually get to Disneyworld this time, because your boss sucks.

Cerine! Another person who I've known, like, forever now! I will always remember Kyuuri crack and the winking condoms, even if you'd probably rather I forget.

Out of all my online friends, you're probably one of the people I talk to most often. And it's always lovely to do so, whether we're talking about creative endeavors, fandomy stuff, or just keyboard-smashing because we're both too tired to form coherent sentences anymore.

And I have so few people I can brainstorm with, and doing so with you is always terrific fun. You're a wonderful artist and writer, which shouldn't actually be legal. It flatters me that you enjoy my writing so much. ♥ I really respect your opinion.

Out of left field, new awesome friend get! All because of cnc. And because I like to harrass characters with long pointy noses. But you are a ton of fun to doof around with, and wahey, you've actually spawned a new story because of those shenanigans! And it's awesome. And in my brain way too much.
