WHY IS THERE NO NEW EPISODE NEXT WEEK
I WANT IT ALLLL
ALL THE EPISODES
OF THE ENTIRE SERIES
NOWWWW
Ugh I have not felt this way about a show in a long time, where I just can't hold still because I want the next episode soooo badly. Korra, you are my forever girl.
- "NOOOO, MY CABBAGE CORP." I called that line last week, but I still had a fit laughing.
- My heart still hurts that Korra doesn't have a Gaang of her own yet. D: Bolin and Mako are arguably still more teammates than friends (though their new roomie status may change that!) I reaaaaally hope that Korra and Asami become close. I think Asami really wanted to impress her, too. RACECARS.
- ALSO I loved seeing how far Korra has come in terms of maturity. FOCUSED ON HER JOB, STICKING TO HER GUNS, ETC. It had nothing to do with the love triangle, which made Mako really frustrating this episode. >: "THIS FRIENDSHIP IS OVER," really Mako?
- Speaking of which, after that "YOU STAY BEHIND, ASAMI" fuckery, I was so happy that she got to save everyone's ass. And KORRA'S EXPRESSION, HAHA. ♥
- TENZIN AND LIN, YOU ARE FLAWLESS. Also between Lin finding the secret tunnel (SECRET TUNNELLLLLL, SECRET TUNNELLLLLLLL) and her "LET'S BREAK SOME RULES" moment at the end, she is totally her mother's daughter. D: TEARBENDING.
- I was surprised that Korra didn't have another Aang flashback! I want to see lots more of that. I'm insanely curious about Korra's development as an Avatar and how her airbending training is progressing. Did Aang dying in the Avatar State in S2 of A:TLA have any negative effect on her? Or is the rise of technology/decreased connection to nature affecting the spirituality of bending? Obviously I have lots of deep feelings about this plotline, so I hope next episode tackles it, especially with Mako/Bolin/Asami at the Air Temple and seeing Korra's training firsthand.
In conclusion, GIVE ME MOOOOORE. MOOOOOOOAR.
