crantz: "Comics as a medium for self-expression? Oh John, you're such a fool!" "I-I'm sorry!" (Comics)

Fandoms: I'll just list the main ones I can keep up in a conversation about, because there's nothing I really participate in, and my posts are different everytime: Lord of the Rings, Comicbooks (old stuff, anyway, I've fallen behind. But I like hearing about what's been happening), Lovecraft (although half of what I say when I talk about it is 'did you really just go there, HP?), Diana Wynne Jones, Pokemon (show, game, comic), Ranma, City of Heroes, Narnia, Sherlock Holmes (original, the new movie, and the new BBC iteration. I also love the old radio shows!), Tintin, Asterix, CSI and CSI NY, Bones, Criminal Minds (I follow these crime shows by season releases, so I'm always a season behind. But I don't mind spoilers at all. I try to avoid spoiling others though, so you don't have to worry about me posting about it without a cut if I do catch up), Supernatural (first two seasons. I won't be able to add much other than reaction to what you're saying about the later stuff), Due South, Wizard of Oz (Sort of! I've read the first few books and working my way through the rest), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett (I've read most of his books, even the non-discworld ones. So I'm putting it as a general Pterry fandom stuff. One day... one day someone will want to talk about the Bromeliad trilogy with me), and did I mention City of Heroes? That's the mmorpg I play and love incredibly dearly. I rarely post about it, but it makes my day to find fellow players. I've probably forgotten a bunch. Oh! And I'm a big mythology geek. If you know cultures I don't, please share! I love learning more.

How many years you've been doing Yuletide: This was my first! It was super fun.

Your fic: Millions of Cats, which I wrote for Naatz. It's Howl's Moving Castle/Chronicles of Chrestomanci.

DW or LJ? (Or Twitter, or Plurk, or...): [personal profile] crantz at dreamwidth.

Journaling habits: I read books. I post about books. Sometimes I post some other things, but a lot of my posts will be about what book I'm currently reading, what I like about it, and stuff like that. If I ever post anything NSFW, it will be a quote from something, and I don't post NSFW images. I keep anything that may get you in trouble at work under cuts, but my posts tend to be of a medium length with the sometimes long one. I like to include post relevant graphics, like covers of books, panels from comics, or squirrels. The books I usually read are children's books, but I do adult fiction from time to time. I also take suggestions as long as the books are low on sexual violence. I also like to write and will post about that from time to time, even if it's just a 'this would be a cool book idea'.

Other interests: Hamsters are cool. I haven't done it in months, but I like to draw silly comics from time to time.

Anything else?: I'm a fandom_wank mod. This isn't so much a warning about me (I'm pretty mild) but I know it's not always a popular community and I don't want anyone to get an unpleasant surprise. Also, I am Canadian. I feel that is v. important.
