I always try to plot everything out in my head before writing an individual scene, but how far ahead I plan always depends. I tend to have most of the important plot points in order when I start writing a story so I can add foreshadowing, but as I go from chapter to chapter, a lot of the other scenes are subject to changes - some at the last possible second. So depending on the day, I can be very organized or very disorganized!
