In the Mouth of Madness is a must see if you like psychological/Love Craftian horror. It's very subtle for a John Carpenter movie. The pacing is a bit on the weird side but totally worth it. It's actually one of my all time favorites 'cause I'll pick up something new every time I watch it.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose is actually a pretty damn good court room drama/exorcism horror movie hybrid. Worth a watch if you like unusual story telling.
Husbeast recommends Sphere. I haven't seen it but he says it's awesome.
There's a great Greek zombie apocalypse movie called Evil to Kako that was surprisingly good when I saw the US press screening of it a few years back. It follows the normal zombie survival theme but puts a few different character types in that make it all interesting. And the ending, well...it's just chilling.
