Hello all! No one had posted a Yuletide Friending Meme yet, so I decided to step up to the plate. This may be on DW, but it is for LJ as well, and all you LJ-ers can comment with Open ID. Fandoms: My main active fandom is Highlander - but! When it comes to Yuletide I've got a variety.
I've written for: Black Books, The Magicians, Circle of Magic, Valdemar, Buckaroo Banzai, Neverwhere, Lost Boys, Ocean's 11, The Prisoner and Fight Club.
I've received: The Dark is Rising, Here is Greenwood, Sandman, The Muppet Show, Swallows and Amazons, Anna to the Infinite Power, Logan's Run and Push (2009)
I've asked for: Elfquest, House of Stairs, Dragon Prince, Hancock, Mass Effect, The Avengers, The Changeover and Unwind.

How many years you've been doing Yuletide: 7 as of this year.

DW or LJ?: LJ, please, under this name. I have a DW but I don't use it.

Journaling habits: Minimal, at the moment, but I'm hoping to change that to weekly posting and more writing/commenting.

Other interests: I knit, but really I love books and movies and television. I'm a librarian and spend most of my time on children's/YA books. And I own over 500 movies on DVD and am working my way through them, one a day (308 as of today). That's about where I'm at.

Anything else?: I'm really an introvert and while sometimes I get in the mood to leave a lengthy comment, often I just can't manage to get up the oomph to be terribly active. I read anything I recognize the fandom for, though, so I do try.

The DVD collection is the result of my husband and myself both working for a video store for some years and grabbing things that were on sale/remotely interesting. A little over a year ago I looked around at the stacks and shelves of DVDs and said "This is ridiculous. Some of these were bought years ago and they've never been opened. I'm watching them. Why have them otherwise?"

308 days later and I've now seen some very good stuff, some very bad stuff and some bizarre things I can't believe we own. It's been interesting.
